An efficient home consumes almost 90% less energy.
















Efficient housing that has the highest category of energy efficiency consume up to 86.4% less energy than one that is designated with the lowest level, according to the Association of Energy Service Companies (Anese).

Anese explains that the market price of the same property can vary considerably depending on their energy efficiency rating, and remembers that the Certificate of Energy Efficiency in buildings in 2013 shall be required in Spain on all sales contracts and leases .


The royal decree announced by the central goverment, the Certification of Energy Efficiency in Existing Buildings , which will be in effect before January 1, 2013, requiring that all homes are purchased, sold or rented in Spain will have certificate that guarantees their energy behavior.

The houses have a distinctive of efficiency similar to that already are been in use. In fact, households are classified by a series of letters that go to the 'A' (most efficient) to 'G' (degree of lower energy efficiency).
